  Went there and had some shrimp tacos. So here goes a more open understanding of this place as a whole. 1). The restaurant in looks out of 10 I really got to say its a 5 you can see they need some painting to do and I'm not talking about the writing on the walls, that i think is super cool so they got some maintenance to do. 2). The place was dusty and for what I could see in the kitchen there is some cleaning to do (I worked in the food business for 6 years) on floors and kitchen equipment. 3). The food side I like the tacos the shrimp tasted fresh so that alone was great but I had better tacos. Maybe if its your first time ask for any recommendations as what to try. Also be careful when ordering I got my order confused by the cashier I only ask for 2 tacos not 2 orders of 2 so just heads up. 4). The price is great and the orders are pretty decent so yes you will be satisfied. 5). Down part they do have a pet. It's a cat no harm done but its a business and like so you got to comply because not everyone likes cats I don't mind but I'll leave that up to the clients. Over all I like the place its average.

  My wife and I had dinner there last night (10/18/2016). She had the Garlicky Shrimp and I had the Firerock Shrimp and both were delicious. The flavors of both were very good and well balanced. Get over the appearance of the building, because the food was delicious.The price for the dinners was a great value considering that we are on Kauai. It was just the right amount of food for the both of us to allow us to have a scoop of ice cream later at another shop. And unlike most of the restaurants close by, the food was quickly prepared. You do have to remove the shells from each Shrimp, but hang loose, slow down and enjoy the meal. That's the fun part of dining.
